Livestock Changes for the 2021 Fair

  • For junior horse, junior livestock and open livestock exhibitors, there is a mandatory fee of $2 per exhibitor for liability insurance.
  • For junior horse exhibitors, there is a mandatory drug fee of $8 per horse.
  • The Newcastle Disease quarantine has been lifted and we expect to offer poultry classes at the 2021 Fair.
  • Exhibitors are strongly encouraged to enter all classes by the entry deadline. The Nevada County Fair Board of Directors adopted a late entry policy that briefly extends the entry deadline, but requires a substantial late entry fee.
