The Nevada County Fairgrounds offers a variety of indoor, outdoor and camping facilities for every occasion. Buildings and outdoor facility rentals are typically available on a first-come, first-served basis. See our Calendar.

Facilities available include buildings and outdoor facilities for events such as trade shows, music festivals and livestock shows.

Our Facilities:

Ponderosa Hall with adjoining grassy Oak Grove area

Ponderosa Hall (reception on patio) With its warm, wood floors, serene views, and a full commercial style kitchen with a walk-in refrigerator and freezer. Ponderosa Hall is an ideal building for weddings, lectures, fundraisers, luncheons or dinners and more.

Daily Rental Starting at: $1200
Room Size: 50’ x 60’ (3,000 sq. ft.)
Assembly Capacity: 300 Seating Capacity: 200
Rental includes 16 round tables, 8 rectangular, 200 chairs, 1 trash bin, and use of kitchen.
Rental also includes use of the Ponderosa Hall side room, with private rooms and easy access to the deck.
The large lawn area (Oak Grove) outside Ponderosa Hall is included.

Whitney Pavilion

Whitney Pavilion A high ceiling, open-air floor plan and expansive views of the grounds make Whitney Pavilion a wonderful choice for a barn dance or wedding.

Quaker Hill

Quaker Hill Under the shade of tall pines, with its small bandstand, dance pad and concrete picnic tables, Quaker Hill is a beautiful setting for a picnic, family gathering or small musical performance.

Daily rental fees by group size: (up to 250) $450  (251-400) $550 (401-750) $950
Maximum group size: 750

Main Street Center

Beautiful Main Street Center An inviting foyer, high ceilings, and a large floor plan makes Main Street Center the perfect facility for musical performances, trade shows and events that require lots of space.

Sugar Pine Lodge

Main Show Arena

Main Show Arena grandstands Lots of seating and open space – and surrounded by the beautiful Fairgrounds – the Arena is the perfect place for a concert, a rodeo, a motor cross event, or anything that requires a large, outdoor setting.

Rental includes use of arena box office

RV Park

We have 44 full hook-up sites and 100 water and electric hook-up sites.
Reservations are encouraged, but feel free to call and check availability

Northern Mines Building (back side) Unique in its three-wing design and beautiful murals, the Northern Mines Building is a great location for birthday parties, receptions and craft shows.
