The Wizard of Oz Featured at Movies Under the Pines

What are you doing this Friday night? How about enjoying the Wizard of Oz as part of the Movies Under the Pines at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 7:30; movie begins at sunset. Tickets are $7/adults and $5/children. Bring a blanket or low-back chair, a picnic, and make it a night of fun! Hosted by the Nevada City Film Festival.

Cancelled: Movies Under the Stars on May 20 (Due to Rain)

Unfortunately, due to rain, this Friday’s (May 20) showing of The Wizard of Oz at the Fairgrounds has been cancelled. The fine folks at Nevada City Film Festival have rescheduled the movie to June 24. We’ll post details as it gets closer.

Movies Under the Pines (May 20)

Movies Under the Pines (presented by the Nevada City Film Festival) kicks off at the Nevada County Fairgrounds on May 20. Enjoy watching the Wizard of Oz while sitting beneath the stars at the Fairgrounds. Beer, wine, popcorn, soft drinks, and ice cream available for purchase.. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages allowed; outside alcoholic beverages prohibited. Blankets and low back chairs are suggested. Gates open at 7:30pm for picnicking; films begin at sunset. Tickets are $7/general admission, $5/children 12 & under.
