The Altar Show is happening today through November 5, noon to 7 pm each day, at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. This annual exhibit features more than 60 altars created to honor loved ones and common human experiences. The show is free, but tax-deductible contributions are welcome. The Altar Show: Renewal and Remembrance, is a community-based, non-profit organization that provides a free annual exhibition, originally inspired by Day of the Dead, that involves and educates the community while providing a safe place to renew and remember in a respectful and safe space.

Presented by The Whole Bead Show, Inc., this is a small and intimate boutique show with a nice selection of beads, findings, buttons, artisan glass, resin beads, jewelry, seed beads, and more. Open to the public as well as to wholesale. Discover vintage through contemporary pieces made from glass, stone, metal, pearl, amber and porcelain. Admission is free.
