Join the beautiful Draft Horses at the 2016 Draft Horse Classic. Majestic Draft Horse performances, breath-taking competitions, and seeing a Draft Horse “up-close” – it’s all part of the Annual Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Fair at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. The Classic has grown to become the premier Draft Horse show in the western United States, and features six majestic performances, along with non-stop entertainment in between classes.

Art at the Classic: Call for Artists
Are you interested in showcasing your artwork at Art at the Classic? Held during the Draft Horse Classic, this equine and western art show features more than 120 works by painters, sculptors, photographers and other fine artists. If you are an interested artist, please complete the application below.

2015 Draft Horse Classic Awards
Awards for the 29th annual Draft Horse Classic have been announced. Albert Cleve of Farmington, Missouri, judged the Draft Horse competitions and halter show. Dwight Gilbert from Nevada was the judge of the pulling contest; and Robbie Mederos from Danville was the horseshoe competition judge. (For more, please see the Announcement). Below are the results:
