Join the beautiful Draft Horses at the 2017 Draft Horse Classic. Majestic Draft Horse performances, breath-taking competitions, and seeing a Draft Horse “up-close” – it’s all part of the Annual Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Fair at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. The Classic has grown to become the premier Draft Horse show in the western United States, and features six majestic performances, along with non-stop entertainment in between classes.

2017 Draft Horse Performance Tickets:

Draft Horse Classic tickets are on sale May 1, 2017. Draft Horse Classic performance tickets are available at the Arena Box Office during all four days of the Classic.

Evening and Late Afternoon Performances:
Reserved seating: $19; General admission: $16

Morning Performances:
Reserved seating: $15; General admission: $12

Children’s Tickets (12 & under)
Reserved seating: $13; General admission: $10

Parking: $6 (daily); $15 (event pass)

*Performance tickets purchased after 5 pm on Wednesday, September 20, are an additional $4 per ticket.

Harvest Fair

In between the Draft Horse performances, the Harvest Fair is bustling with activity. The Harvest Fair is an experience that can be enjoyed by kids and adults – and admission is free! Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the barns and meet the horses, taste the delicious Treat Street goodies, or sit and enjoy the live entertainment. With so much to see and do, there’s a little something for everyone at the Harvest Fair.
