Mark your calendar: This year’s Trout Derby is Saturday, April 15 from 7 am to noon at Lions Lake at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. This is for kids 3 – 12. Thank you to the Grass Valley Sportsmen for hosting the annual Kids Trout Derby last weekend. Lots of fun for all! It’s nice to see kiddos still out enjoying the lake and fishing – and catching fish.
