Youth in Agriculture Busy Preparing for 2018 Fair

While the Fair is still months away, Nevada County’s youth in agriculture work tirelessly all year in order to show animals at the Fair. Here’s to all the hard-working students out there already busy preparing for the 2018 Fair.

The artist, Terri Rose, has been an exhibitor in the Annual Art at the Classic Show. The show is held in Main Street Center on the same days as the Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Fair. Join the Nevada County Fairgrounds Foundation at i Join the Nevada County Fairgrounds Foundation at its 11th Annual Fundraiser, this year an All-You-Can-Eat Crab, Shrimp and Pasta Feed, Saturday, March 4 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds!! Doors open at 5 pm and dinner at 6 pm. Prior to dinner, appetizers will be served in the lounge, giving patrons the opportunity to participate in a raffle of marvelous gift baskets and special ticket packages to the 2023 “Country Roots & Cowboy Boots” Nevada County Fair. Dinner includes antipasto spears, Caesar salad, all-you-can-eat crab and shrimp, pasta, and garlic bread. A no-host bar will be available, and there will be a silent dessert auction and a live auction. Reservations are $65 per person. Table for 8 is $650 and includes two bottles of wine. Reservations are available by visiting the Nevada County Fairgrounds Office at 11228 McCourtney Road in Grass Valley or visiting the Foundation’s website at NevadaCountyFair.com/Foundation. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Nevada County Fairgrounds Foundation and its mission of supporting and improving the community’s beautiful Fairgrounds and supporting youth in agriculture!!
