Nevada County Fairgrounds Hosts Job Fair For 2018 Fair Season Jobs

Have you ever thought about how fun it would be to work at the Nevada County Fair? We’re hiring for the 2018 Fair season and looking for cashiers, ticket monitors, “red shirt” patrols, exhibit crew, clean-up crew, and parking crew. If you’re interested, plan to attend the Nevada County Fair Job Fair on Tuesday, June 5, from 3 – 6 pm at the Fairgrounds. We’ll be accepting applications and conducting interviews at the event. Job descriptions and an application are available here.

Fair staff will be at the event accepting applications and conducting interviews from 3 – 6 pm for all departments. Jobs available include gate cashiers, ticket monitors, “red shirt” patrols, exhibit crew, clean-up crew, and parking crew.

Working during the Fair can be fast-paced, rewarding and lots of fun! Bring a completed application with you to the Job Fair. Copies will be available onsite if needed.

Help Wanted: RV Park Jobs

The Nevada County Fairgrounds RV Park is looking for a part-time Assistant Camp Host and a Workcamper. 

  • Assistant Camp Host – long-term opportunity, 16 hours/week. Customer service, including reservations and fees; janitorial and light grounds keeping.
  • Workamper – 25 hours/week in exchange for FHU site with propane and Wi-Fi.  Assist Camp Host and campers, janitorial, light grounds keeping and pumping propane.
