Music in the Mountains SummerFest

Music in the Mountains has an amazing lineup of music this weekend (June 21 and 22) at the Nevada County Fairgrounds! Saturday is the Family Music Faire with Lemony Snicket’s “The Composer is Dead” AND Alasdair Fraser’s Grand Fiddler’s Rally.  On Sunday, the Young Geniuses concert celebrates the year-long collaboration with Sierra Streams Institute. So much fun in one weekend!

The fun doesn’t stop there. Music in the Mountains’ SummerFest continues with the following:

June 27- The Fab Four
June 28- John Williams Spectacular
July 3- Happy Birthday USA

All concerts start at 8 pm, and gates open at 6:30 pm. Bring a picnic dinner to the concerts, or enjoy an array of great food from our vendors. There is no outside alcohol permitted at the concerts, in accordance with ABC laws.  Please refrain from bringing your own alcohol as it will be confiscated at the gate.  Instead, enjoy beer, wine and selected mixed drinks from the two outdoor bars.

It’s all part of Music in the Mountains’ SummerFest, which continues through July 3.  All the details can be found on the Music in the Mountains website.

Come out to the beautiful tree-covered Nevada County Fairgrounds and enjoy great entertainment while supporting our community’s awesome Music in the Mountains!
