Movies Under the Pines (presented by the Nevada City Film Festival) kicks off this Friday at the Nevada County Fairgrounds with The NeverEnding Story. Gates open at 7 pm; film begins at sunset. Lazy Dog ice cream, specialty coffee drinks, beer, wine, and An Honest Pie will be available for purchase. Blankets and low back chairs are suggested.
