Have you heard the news???? The Nevada County Fair Have you heard the news???? The Nevada County Fair is very excited to announce the 2021 Ag Mechanics and Junior Livestock Auction totals hit a RECORD HIGH this year!! Contributions made to these events help our youth realize their potential, grow their dreams, shaping the future of agriculture and developing strong leaders in our community. The exhibitors in the Ag Mechanics and Junior Livestock projects work very hard, feeding and raising animals and creating worthwhile projects with their own hands. The lessons they learn in preparing these projects for the fair teaches them responsibility, dedication, and entrepreneurialism which are truly life skills they will use throughout their lifetime. We’d like to offer a sincere THANK YOU to our community businesses, individuals and sponsors who generously supported the exhibitors in a way that exceeded our wildest expectations!! The combined total of the Ag Mechanics Auction, Junior Livestock Auction, and the NEW Online Add-On Program, totaled…….. $1,040,095.50!! Words cannot express the gratitude and appreciation for every youth, parent, leader, advisor, buyer, staff member, and volunteer which made this year such a huge success!! THANK YOU, we couldn’t have done it without YOU! IT'S NOT TOO EARLY, mark your calendars for the 2022 Nevada County Fair, August 10-14th!
The Fairgrounds will be closed to the public start The Fairgrounds will be closed to the public starting today for an event. We will reopen to the public on Tuesday, August 31.
Well, that's a wrap! The 2021 Nevada County Fair i Well, that's a wrap! The 2021 Nevada County Fair is in the books. Fun was had and memories were made! THANK YOU to everyone that came through our gates, sponsored or donated to the Fair, volunteered their time, worked hard as a part of the staff, sold food, items or services, purchased a Junior Livestock or Ag Mechanics project, performed on a stage or in the arena, entered an item, won an award, and watched over the internet as the 2021 Nevada County Fair unfolded! The Nevada County Fair held up it's history....The Most Beautiful Fairgrounds and the Best Fair!! Mark your calendars – THE FAIR WILL BE BACK IN TOWN - August 10-14, 2022!! Good night everyone!! #nevadacountyfair2021
