Join the beautiful Draft Horses at the 2024 Draft Horse Classic. Majestic Draft Horse performances, breath-taking competitions, and seeing a Draft Horse “up-close” – it’s all part of the Annual Draft Horse Classic and Harvest Fair at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. The Classic has grown to become the premier Draft Horse show in the western United States, and features six majestic performances, along with non-stop entertainment in between classes.
Draft Horse Classic Performance Schedule
Tickets Available Beginning May 1, 2024
Beginning May 1, 2024, at 8 am, Draft Horse Classic show tickets will go on sale for purchases made in person at our office or over the phone by calling (530) 273-6217.
Beginning May 3, 2024, at 8am, tickets will be available online

Camp at the Draft Horse Classic!
Make it a weekend and reserve your RV space in our RV Park. If you purchase a Draft Horse Classic Season Pass (good for all 6 performances) you are eligible to make your camping reservation May 1 at 8 am.
Camping reservations for non-season pass holders will begin at 1 pm on May 1. Reservations can be made online or by calling our office at (530) 273-6217.

Except for service dogs, no dogs or other pets are allowed on the grounds during events. Pets providing emotional support, well-being, comfort or companionship are not recognized as service animals under ADA regulations and are not permitted.
Smoke Free Event: Smoking and vaping allowed only in designated areas outside Gates 3 and 5.
