Looking for something fun to do on the 4th of July? Check out the parade in downtown Grass Valley, followed by a celebration and fireworks at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. The parade begins at 11 a.m.; Fairgrounds gates open at 3 p.m., entertainment begins at 4 p.m. and the fireworks spectacular kicks off at 9:30 p.m. Music, entertainment, food and refreshments will be offered.
