Appreciation for Our Sponsors!

Thank you to the more than 200 partners who make our Fairgrounds events possible!  Truly, our sponsors benefit our customers and events in so many ways!

Did you know that because of Smarter Broadband, Fair-goers get a free shuttle ride to the Fair? Or that because of The Beam “Easy Living” Center, Ponderosa Hall has a new sound system? Have you strolled Treat Street in the last few years, or seen the beautiful fountain and garden in front of Ponderosa Hall, not to mention Whitney Pavilion and Lions Lake?  These contributions to the Fairgrounds were provided by Hansen Brothers.

We have an award-winning sponsorship program – and we love our community for partnering with us! We’ve already begun our 2014 partnership program – and we have lots of opportunities available. Thanks to Norcal Beverage and Emily’s Catering, who have already signed up as 2014 sponsors!

For more information, contact  Craig Hoddy/IMS, Partnership Director at or call him at (530) 272-3239. Visit the Fairgrounds’ sponsorship page to learn about all of our Partnership Opportunities.

“Simply Fun!” Artwork Winners Announced

Congratulations to Brittany Zweigle and April DePiazza of Grass Valley for having their artwork chosen to represent the Nevada County Fair and the theme for the 2014 Fair – “Simply Fun!”

Fair poster (2014)  FAIR14_ArtPoster_v1.indd

This year we’ve chosen two different looks – a photograph and a drawing – to represent the Fair’s theme. The photograph will be used on the poster, as well as throughout our advertising campaign.  The drawing will be used on the cover of our Competition Handbook, as well as throughout the Fair in the buildings, on gate signs, and on other promotional pieces.

Both pieces were chosen from numerous entries submitted by community members.

Dawn Narvaez of Penn Valley submitted the theme of “Simply Fun!” as part of our community contest in November to determine the theme for this year’s Fair.

Thank you to all those who submitted artwork!!

Fun Fair Photo

Did we mention that we love our Fair-goers? After all, they are the reason we do what we do every year! This is a photo submitted to us by one of our Instagram followers (#lenkaland).  This is a best of show award in the fur and feathers costume contest. Such a fun photo! Send us your success stories via Instagram (#nevadacountyfair) or message us on Facebook so we can feature your story and photo here.
