TREAT STREET BOOTH AVAILABLE
Interested local non-profit groups are encouraged to apply for vacancy
The Nevada County Fairgrounds is seeking a non-profit group to operate a Treat Street food booth at the 2015 Nevada County Fair, August 12 – 16. Applicants must be a Nevada County-based non-profit group. The booth is equipped to produce and serve tempura or some other frozen product that is deep fried. The group must provide all the staffing during operating hours of the Fair, 10 am to 11 pm, each day.
The Nevada County Fair’s Treat Street consists of community non-profit service organizations. Eat at the Fair and you are supporting the local non-profit community – while also eating some delicious local food! There are currently more than 20 organizations represented on Treat Street, including 4H, the Methodist Church, Jobs Daughters, Grass Valley Sportsmen, Watt Park Fire Department, Girl Scouts, and Rotary. Last year, almost $700,000 was generated on Treat Street. Proceeds raised on Treat Street allow local non-profit organizations to provide vital services to our community.
