Tickets are on sale now for August 8 – 12, 2018

There are numerous ways to buy your tickets:

  • Order online using the link below.
  • Visit the Fairgrounds Office on McCourtney Road
  • Call the Fairgrounds Office at (530) 273-6217 (before August 7 at 5 pm)
  • Fair admission tickets are available at the gates during the Fair. See below for prices.

Using Nevada County Fairgrounds’ eTix online ticketing system, you can purchase and print your tickets (or have them scanned from your phone at the gate). To make a purchase, simply click on the ticket link below and follow the step-by-step instructions.

Flying U Extreme Rodeo – 7 pm
$12 for adults, $8 for kids 12 and under
Produced by Cotton Rosser and the Flying U Rodeo Company, this action-packed rodeo includes cowboys, bull riding, Mutton Bustin, and local barrel racing.

Thursday, August 9 (NEW IN 2018)
All Star All American Pulling Series – 7 pm
$12 for adults, $8 for kids 12 and under
Ticket price includes a driver Meet and Greet in the Arena from 5:30 – 6:3o pm

The All Star All American Pulling Series features five pulling classes, including outlaw unlimited multi-engine tractors, super modified 4-wheel drive trucks, and street warrior local participation class.

Friday, August 10
All Star Monster Trucks, Stock and Modified Tough Truck Racing – 7 pm
$15 for adults, $8 for kids 12 and under
Ticket price includes a driver Meet and Greet in the Arena from 5:30 – 6:30 pm
The All Star Monster Truck Tour features four brand new Monster Trucks, as well as Stock and Modified Class Tough Truck Racing.

Saturday, August 11

All Star Monster Trucks, Stock and Modified Tough Truck Racing – 7 pm

Sunday, August 12
Destruction Derby – 7 pm
$15 for adults, $8 for kids 12 and under
Hosted by KNCO radio, the derby features drivers putting their cars to the ultimate test by crashing, smashing, and ramming other vehicles while trying to keep their own vehicle running!

Please note that admission to the Fair is not included with an arena event purchase. If you purchase arena tickets by Tuesday, August 7, at 5 pm, you can also purchase admission to the Fair for only $7.

Transportation to the Fair

During Fair time, take advantage of our free parking and shuttle buses from Nevada Union High School (39.24011, -121.0570) (map). The buses will take you and your family to and from the Fairgrounds – free of charge! The free shuttle bus runs every half-hour from Nevada Union High School to the Fairgrounds. Shuttle service begins at 8:30 am. The last bus leaves the Fairgrounds at 11:30 pm.

As a reminder, pets are not allowed on the grounds during Fairgrounds-Sponsored Events, except for those canines entered in Fair competitions or assisting a disabled visitor or participant.
