Auctions at the 2018 Nevada County Fair

Support local youth in agriculture by attending the Ag Mechanics Auction, the Junior Livestock Auction or the Small Animal Silent Auction at the Nevada County Fair. Each purchase and bid at these auctions is an investment in the next generation of agriculture and supports college funding, vocational training and future agriculture projects.

Bump Up Form (deadline: Monday, August 13, 2018 at noon)
Looking for another way to support youth exhibitors?  A Bump Up is when a buyer offers additional money to the price of the animal or the Ag Mechanics project as a benefit to the student. Bump Ups may be done until noon on Monday, August 13.

Small Animal Silent Auction
Sunday, August 12 at 9 am
Small Animal Area near the Livestock Office
Bid on eggs, market turkeys, broiler meat pens, and rabbit meat pens.

Auction Facts
In 2017, the Junior Livestock and Small Animal Silent auctions included 215 entries and raised more than $540,000.
The Ag Mechanics Auction included 32 items and raised more than $44,000.
