We have five days of excitement and fun planned for Fair-goers of all ages. The Nevada County Fair is the perfect opportunity to enjoy musical entertainment, delicious food, carnival rides, animals, and exhibits in a community-friendly environment and at affordable family prices!

Community Involvement Day July 292019 Community Involvement Day Poster

  • Participate in Community Involvement Day on July 29 from 1 – 6 pm at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, make a donation to one of the participating community organizations, and receive coupons to buy one advance special $7 admission ticket and receive one free (ticket must be purchased before August 6 and excludes $3 Thursday tickets).


  • Donate blood at Community Involvement Day on Monday, July 29, from 1 – 6 pm at the BloodSource bloodmobile located in the Gate 1 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds and receive a free admission ticket to the Fair.

2019 Vendor Handbook

We’re Hiring for the Nevada County Fair 

The Nevada County Fairgrounds is hiring for the 2019 Fair season. If you are interested in working at the Fairgrounds during the 2019 Fair season, please complete an application and return it to the Nevada County Fairgrounds office on McCourtney Road. Jobs available include: 

  • Parking Lot Crew
  • Red Shirt Crew
  • Maintenance

Except for service dogs, no dogs or other pets are allowed on the grounds during events. Pets providing emotional support, well-being, comfort or companionship are not recognized as service animals under ADA regulations and are not permitted.
