We are planning five days of excitement and fun planned for Fair-goers of all ages. The Nevada County Fair is the perfect opportunity to enjoy live entertainment, delicious food, carnival rides, animals, and exhibits in a community-friendly environment and at affordable family prices!

5-Day Fair Pass—$30. Allows unlimited gate entry for all 5 days.
Event Parking Pass—$25. Allows unlimited parking entry for all 5 days.
“Be A Kid Again” Adult Admission—$4 (Thursday only)
Carnival wristband—$25 “Pay One Price”. Good any one day.

Enter an Exhibit

Enter an Exhibit in the Fair: If you can make it, bake it, grow it, or show it, we have a category for you. It’s easy, it’s fun, and most categories are free! The Competition Handbook includes all the information you need to enter exhibits in this year’s Fair. The book is available on-line here, at the Fair Office and at various locations around town.


Community Involvement Day PosterCommunity Involvement Day: July 31

The Nevada County Fairgrounds is teaming up with local, nonprofit organizations – the Food Bank of Nevada County, Foothill Lions, Nevada County 2-1-1, NEO Youth Center, Story Club, Community Beyond Violence (formerly Domestic Violence Coalition), Cinderella Project, The Karing Closet, and BloodSource – on July 31 for Community Involvement Day. This is a day to donate items to these nonprofit organizations, while also receiving coupons for buy one, get one admission tickets to the Fair.  Or, donate blood through BloodSource on that day and receive a free admission ticket to the Fair. The organizations will be at the Fairgrounds Gate 1 main parking lot on Monday, July 31, from 1 – 6 pm, to receive donations. For more information and a list of items to donate, visit here.

 



As a reminder, pets are not allowed on the grounds during the Nevada County Fair, except for those canines entered in Fair competitions or assisting a disabled Nevada County Fair visitor or participant.
