Application for Community Showcase Acts
Do you have a dance group you’d like to see perform at the Fair? Does your group have a skill they’d like to demonstrate to Fair-goers? Want to do a martial arts demonstration, a cheerleading demonstration, or show off your baton twirling skills? The Nevada County Fair is now accepting applications for community acts and demonstrations to perform at the 2019 Nevada County Fair. There is no paid compensation for community showcases and demonstrations. To apply, complete the online or PDF Application below. To be considered, applications must be returned by June 5.

The Nevada County Fairgrounds will host a Job Fair to fill its hiring needs for the 2019 Fair season. The Nevada County Fair Job Fair will be held on Tuesday, June 11 from 3 – 6 pm in Main Street Center, located at Gate 1, at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. If you are interested in working at the Fairgrounds during the 2019 Fair season, plan to attend. Applications will be collected and interviews conducted onsite. Jobs available include:
- Gate Cashier
- Ticket Monitors
- Exhibit Crew
- Clean Up Crew
- Parking Lot Crew
- Ice crew
- “Red Shirt”
