The Nevada County Fairgrounds offers a variety of indoor, outdoor and camping facilities for almost every occasion. Buildings and outdoor facility rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. See our Calendar. Facilities available include buildings and outdoor facilities for events such as trade shows, music festivals and livestock shows.

Our Facilities:

Ponderosa Hall

Ponderosa Hall (reception on patio) With its warm, wood floors, serene views, and full kitchen, Ponderosa Hall is an ideal building for weddings, lectures, fundraisers and more.

Daily Rental: $950
Room Size: 50’ x 60’ (3,000 sq. ft.)
Assembly Capacity: 300 Seating Capacity: 200
Rental includes 16 round tables, 8 rectangular, 200 chairs, 1 trash bin, and use of kitchen.
Rental also includes use of the Ponderosa Hall side room, with private rooms and easy access to the deck.
*The large lawn area (Oak Grove) outside Ponderosa Hall is available for rent at an additional cost of $300 per day.

Whitney Pavilion

Whitney Pavilion A high ceiling, open-air floor plan and expansive views of the grounds make Whitney Pavilion a wonderful choice for a barn dance or wedding.

Quaker Hill

Quaker Hill Under the shade of tall pines, with its small bandstand, dance pad and concrete picnic tables, Quaker Hill is a beautiful setting for a picnic, family gathering or small musical performance.

The Loadin’ Chute

The Loading Chute Views of lush lawns and a large wooden deck with bench seating at The Loadin’ Chute creates a great location for a variety of events, such as a family BBQ or baby shower.

Main Street Center

Beautiful Main Street Center An inviting foyer, high ceilings, and a large floor plan makes Main Street Center the perfect facility for musical performances, trade shows and events that require lots of space.

Sugar Pine Lodge

Sugar Pine Lodge (side view) Light from the newly exposed cupola, warm wood walls and dual roll-up doors make Sugar Pine Lodge a great choice for birthday parties, meeting hall or vendor space.

Main Show Arena

Main Show Arena grandstands Lots of seating and open space – and surrounded by the beautiful Fairgrounds – the Arena is the perfect place for a concert, a rodeo, a motor cross event, or anything that requires a large, outdoor setting.

Daily Rental: $1,800
Seating Capacity: 2,500 (approx)
Rental includes use of arena box office and concession areas.
(Livestock and Horse Barns are not included.)

RV Park

fairgrounds aerial shot during festival The RV Campground is located with easy access from Highway 20 and Highway 49.
We have 44 full hook-up sites and 100 water and electric hook-up sites.Individual camping is on first-come, first-serve basis.
Reservations are encouraged.
One week maximum stay for individuals subject to availability (based on time of year). Free Wi-Fi for campers.

Northern Mines Building

Northern Mines Building (back side) Unique in its three-wing design and beautiful murals, the Northern Mines Building is a great location for birthday parties, receptions and craft shows. The layout allows the building to be utilized as a whole or divided into separate wings.
