The Nevada County Fairgrounds offers a variety of indoor, outdoor and camping facilities for almost every occasion. Buildings and outdoor facility rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. See our Calendar. Special discounts are available on buildings and outdoor facilities for events such as trade shows, music festivals and livestock shows.

Ponderosa Hall

With its warm, wood floors, serene views, and full kitchen, Ponderosa Hall is an ideal building for weddings, lectures, fundraisers and more. Daily Rental: $650 |
Whitney Pavilion

A high ceiling, open-air floor plan and expansive views of the grounds make Whitney Pavilion a wonderful choice for a barn dance or wedding. Daily Rental: $1,000 |
Quaker Hill
 |
Under the shade of tall pines, with its small bandstand, dance pad and concrete picnic tables, Quaker Hill is a beautiful setting for a picnic, family gathering or small musical performance. Daily rental fees by group size: (up to 250) $450

The Loadin’ Chute

Main Street Center

The Pavilion

A large concrete patio with bench seating surrounding the perimeter, expansive lawn area and situated close to Gate 5 makes The Pavilion an ideal location for company picnics, weddings or bridal showers. |
Sugar Pine Lodge

Light from the newly exposed copula, warm wood walls and dual roll-up doors make Sugar Pine Lodge a great choice for birthday parties, meeting hall or vendor space. Daily Rental: $400 |
Main Show Arena

Lots of seating and open space – and surrounded by the beautiful Fairgrounds – the Arena is the perfect place for a concert, a rodeo, a motor cross event, or anything that requires a large, outdoor setting. Daily Rental: $1,800 |
RV Park
 |
The RV Campground is located with easy access from Highway 20 and Highway 49. Individual camping is on first-come, first-serve basis. Free Wi-Fi for campers Full RV hook-up sites: $30 per rig/per night |
Northern Mines Building

Unique in its three-wing design and beautiful murals, the Northern Mines Building is a great location for birthday parties, receptions and craft shows. The layout allows the building to be utilized as a whole or divided into separate wings.
